California is full of great surf spots of San Diego to Orange County. Here are some of the best places in San Diego and North County. Make sure you check out one of these awesome surf beaches next time you're in Southern California will not be disappointed.

• Blacks Beach This beach located in the northern part of La Jolla is actually widely known as one of the best surf breaks around the country. People come from various corners of America to get a piece of the action throughout the year, but this is not for the faint of heart. The water is hard, rising Down is a bit of a challenge, and cliffs that falling rocks on a regular basis.
• Windansea: This is another of the famous surf spots of San Diego. People do not surf here as much as it once did without embargo. This beach became popular in the sixties for its historical significance in the progressive movement of the surf. Many of the most famous surfers has its beginnings at Windansea.
• Beacon: Although it might be a bit of a challenge to reach because of the steep cliffs protecting the coast, this beach in Leucadia makes it a great day of surfing. Anyway, the steps do not stop the Internet to get your daily dose. The beach is very rocky and not long ago of a case for bathers, but the swell is impressive.
• Grandview: This is one of the most popular surf spots located in Leucadia. If you plan to sunbathe a little, you may find yourself trapped between the cliffs and at high tide algae, but most spend their time bathing in the water so this does not pose a big problem.
• San Elijo State Beach: Located in Encinitas, this state beach and camping is beautiful, easily accessible and has a period of surfing. Not the best place for beginners because of the reefs, but it may pose an interesting challenge for the adventurous.

If you head to the heart of San Diego, there are many other places to surf through in Mission Beach, Ocean Beach and Pacific Beach, CA, and plenty of places to stay along the coast. Be sure to stop by one of these great beaches on the next trip to the West Coast. And be warned, many people who come here on holiday never look back.
