Florida Campgrounds State Parks

What Sarasota, Florida camping is better, and why? Oscar Scherer State Park and Myakka River State Park?
I'm taking my kids camping and me wondering if anyone has stayed at Oscar Scherer State Park, and / or Myakka River State Park. If so, what you like, dislike, which is better, etc?
I have visited both many times. Myakka SP is the largest SP in Florida and therefore more remote. My wife and I go there often just to ride a bike paved roads. I have hiked and their paths are well marked. They have also elevated walkways. If you like hiking, be sure to look at areas where you can walk only with a permit. There is no cost and you will be in an area restricted to the few people who have permits for that day, ensuring more private experience without tram car full of tourists. With the exception of the small winery, there are no provisions available to pack well. Oscar Scherer is much smaller and is classified as a recreation area. The camps have more people and more noise from televisions and radios. One of the interesting things you can see is the "Care with crocodiles "New firm in the swimming area. You will be more about convenience stores and even a Super Walmart. Myakka I like more, but offers either a great time.
