Elsamere was the home of Joy Adamson Born Free Fame. Several pleasant and bright cabins have been built on land near the main house for guests this is a residential ar conservation center, customers are required to be members of a conservation society, and rates have been very reasonable. The conservation center is located under towering trees on a grassy slope at the edge of Lake Naivasha. There are lovely views through the trees and water. In the main house are Joy Adamson memorial space and a separate video room with an extensive library of conservation and wildlife videos. Community Meals are taken in the main house at long tables. You might find yourself sitting next to someone doing research on the lake or near the gate of National park hell. There are areas for rest and reading, a large terrace and a stack of magazines and materials conservation.

It is particularly pleasant and relaxing to sit on the grass, listening to the birds and see the resident company of black and white colobus monkeys frolic in the gardens. There are nature trials along the lake shore and on higher ground across of the road where you can see many wild flowers and get good views of the lake. You can rent boats to explore this end of the lake

Elsamere can handle15-18 missions in the three houses. Each cottage has a balcony facing the lake, the rooms are bright and attractive and have bathrooms en suite, plus missions Elsamere overnight attracts day visitors can come for lunch or a traditional tea on the lawn. You are invited to watch the movie in the history of Joy Adamson and visit the memorial hall. Lunch must be reserved in advance. There is no pool gift shop.

Safariland Club

Safariland is the only another large hotel on the shores of Lake Naivasha. It has a fine adjustment with lake view.
