Army question: Your 1SG?
What was the funniest or craziest thing you ever seen a First Sergeant do? I had two occurences;
One was way back in the day when I was in Germany, we had a 1SG who had this small patch of grass right outside of the barracks called “Uncle Dave’s Campground”. It was for Soldiers who’s rooms were jacked up, or had extra duty. He’d make them pitch a pup tent and pull guard on it!
Then I had a 1SG who started “The Polar Bear Club” at NTC in the Dust Bowl. Initiation was you had to get up early in the morning and take a shower (if you ever been to NTC in the winter, you’d know why you don’t take showers in the morning!).
Anybody got any crazy 1SG stories??
had a 1sgt at Ft Hood in the eighties,had all us Psg’s in his office
chewing us out up one side and down the other when he was through
he asked if their were any questions? i said “well I guess a 3 day
pass is out of the question hey top?’ you could see his face turn beet
red and he laid his head on his desk,and said ” get the F*** out of
here you A**holes ” when we left the office we could hear him laughing
his A** off.
