Big Island Hawaii Campgrounds
Are there any campgrounds in Hawaii that offer free or unlimited stay?
mauna loa area, west side of the Big Island – looking for cheap place to live while going to school. would be willing to work on a farm with lodging included, preferably a coffee bean farm

They have a big following among farmers in South Kona. Also if you are stuck there is a couple of hostels. Pineapple Hut, and something else I forget.
If you really just want to camp there is the willing worker on organic farms program, they have a listing of places to camp. But I think they charge a little money also, depending on the farm.
