Knowing how much I enjoy camping now in my adult life, I think of my childhood and realize how lucky I was to have a father who wanted to go camping.

It was his values he instilled in me as a young child to enjoy what the outdoors has to offer. The outdoors and camping in particular, helps to approach the nature and serenity of life you can not get anywhere else through any other holiday.

Camping is a great way for children of childhood and daughters live with their parents. Camping is a holiday for which all must help and support in order to make life outdoors as comfortable as possible.

Camp also allows parents to teach their children a variety of skills that lead to learning to be more accountable and responsive to its environment. For example, reviewing camping list before leaving, the creation of the tents when to go and teach to leave a campsite better than you found it are excellent ways to teach children about teamwork and responsibility.

Beyond all the family values that you can teach and learn, while camping, there another great benefit to this style wonderful holiday. No, there is clean air, although it may be, no, not the smell of bacon and eggs cooking over an open fire as the sun rises on an autumn day, although that is also a wonderful thought. Not the fact that a holiday weekend camping is cheap and accessible.

Regardless the state you live, more than likely have a home park or private camping within reasonable driving distances from home. Here in New Jersey, I in fifteen minutes to a variety of state parks and private campsites, but are state parks where you actually going to save some money.

That does not mean Private campsites are not as good, but state parks are cheaper on a night basis. With state parks is more than likely will not get any of the comforts you with a private campsite, but remember that it may be a camping holiday on linking unlike video games and pool.

On average in our a state park area will run about twenty-five dollars a night at one site. Most sites can accommodate tents for three or six people, and no more than two vehicles parked there. I know that in Pennsylvania the rules are different for state parks. Not only is allowed a vehicle parked in a place and a maximum of two tents and six people.

Call the park ahead of you plan to camp, and double check as to its rules and regulations if leaves with a greater crowd.

As you can see a weekend trip to go camping (not including food and supplies cost) will run about fifty dollars. If you stay in cabins or bringing an RV can cost more, but not by much. Even after appearing in all the supplies you need, even is cheaper than staying in a hotel somewhere, and with a hotel that are not in proximity to your family that you get when you go camping.
