looking for nice places to camp in Northern California.?

So me and my sister and her family and some friends want to go camping for the Fourth July, but I want to find different places to go other then the normal or barryessa clear lake lake. I was wondering if anyone knew of other places to camp preferably in a lake and family oriented. lookinf for cleaning campgrounds with showers and bathrooms and even affordable. thanks!

Lake Tahoe (north and south) and Shasta Lake are very good in Northern California. But I remember getting a place now for July 4 in a good place, it will be very difficult. Try facing the sea around the SFO, or the North of the SFO. You could even give a chance to Yosemite. I was there last week and the Merced River and all falls still have much water.
