The best place to camp in central and eastern Tennessee?

Where is the best place to camp in Tennessee, in your opinion? I intend to take my two sons (tent) camping for a week during vacations Spring March 16-21. So I want to take them to a camp at Nice. I've been looking in central and eastern Tennessee. You also know any good free primitive camping sites in central or eastern Tennessee.
