What are the best places to visit in Port Angeles, WA?

I’m taking my 4 year old son to Port Angeles in the middle of July. Can anyone recommend any must see places? Are there any Zoo’s or Aquariums? Best campgrounds in the area? How’s the weather in July?

Oh my gosh there is lots for a 4 year old to see. Hurricane Ridge is great. There is still snow in the parking lot or was when I was there last week. There are deer everywhere. Hurricane ridge is about 20 miles South of town. Then there is Crescent Lake about 30 miles South on 101. Then there is the Olympic Game Farm at Sequim www.olygamefarm.com/ It’s better than a zoo and it’s only 20 miles from Port Angeles. There are also beaches within a reasonable drive. Have fun. Port Angeles is a beautiful town.
