Campgrounds San Diego Ca

Living in Los Angeles can drive up the wall and the traffic can only stress that can be treated. After being in town for a while I think the only thing to stay healthy is to leave the city. Camping was something I had always liked when I was a kid so I figured why. Here is a quick summary of some of the information that I found camping.
Southern California has the advantage of being entirely coastal and mountain ranges with long, large forests and expanding deserts. Make a choice in the area that interests can be difficult and there are places to camp at almost all of them. National Park Joshua Tree, for example, is a surprising choice if you're looking to spend some time in the desert. Joshua Tree was named for the Joshua Trees that grow in abundance and has magnificent landscapes. There are plenty of campsites in the wilderness in the Mojave Desert as well and both are wonderful escape from civilization.
In the mountain ranges of the Angeles National Forest is located in the San Gabriel Mountains north of Los Angeles. It is an escape from close and beautiful, but can not be far enough away from Los Angeles to provide a real escape. Santa Ana Mountains are a little further south and are sufficiently close to allow a trip to San Diego. Big Bear Mountain and the ski resort can be a great escape from Los Angeles and no place to camp during the spring and summer. Big Bear Lake offers fishing, swimming and pier and rentals for visitors to enjoy.
However you choose to camp in the southern California area make sure properly packing and carry plenty of water with you.
