Campgrounds around Battlecreek or Jackson, MI?

Can anyone tell me about a good campground to go to around Battlecreek or Jackson, MI? Or maybe even around Toledo, OH? And what is there to do around that campground besides camping? I’m looking to go with my cousins for one night over a weekend this September.

With-in 15 miles of Jackson, Michigan, my birth place, are seven campgrounds.
