The 469 mile long Blue Ridge Parkway is often said that the most scenic drive in America. 5.9 MP Mountain Farm Trail is an easy, quarter-mile self-guiding to walk through a reconstructed 19th century Appalachian Mountain farm. During the summer months, there are demonstrations of farm life, recreating life on the farm long ago time.

MP 6.0 The Appalachian Trail is a hiking trail 2000 miles long stretches through the eastern mountains from Georgia to Maine. Several sections of the track can be accessed from the Blue Ridge Parkway. This section is a walk 2 miles uphill to Humpback Mountain in the 3650 meters over sea level.

8.4 MP Catoctin Loop Trail is a moderate route 3 miles with beautiful views. This short loop is a good way to stretch your legs if conduction youÂ're Parkway.

8.8 MP Greenstone is a short road (2 miles) of self-guiding trail loops through hardwood forest shade and examines the rock formations along the boulevard. This trail is a moderate rise.

MP 17.6 The priest is a tenth of a mile easy walk to an amazing view of the religious group called the mountains looming in the distance.

MP 18.5 White Rock Falls Connection Trail is a moderate climb of 2.9 miles to White Rock Falls track.

MP 20.0 White Rock Falls Trail is a moderate hike that follows 9 miles along a quiet stream and ends at a small waterfall.

26.3 MP Spy Big Mountain Trail is a short (1 miles) but moderate walk to the fields of war, a large meadow known by the many arrowheads found in the soil. At 3200 meters above sea level, this trail offers a view incredible sky and the beautiful Shenandoah Valley below.

MP 34.4 Yankee Horse Trail is a moderate trail 2 miles passing through an exhibition reconstructed railway once used for logging in the mountains of Virginia and leads to a small waterfall called Salto Wigwam.

MP 38.8 Boston Knob Trail is a tenth of an easy circuit miles of the hill near the top. This is an ideal place to stretch your legs after a picnic in the available table.
