Public beaches in Hoods Canal near Hoodsport?
We are looking for a nice place for beachcombing, maybe clamming, tidepools would be great…thanks for any info! (Just a day trip; we don’t need a campground – but OK if there is one!)
Potlach State Park is just south of Hoodsport with beach access.
Right in Hoodsport is the Hoodsport Marina. At low tide, you might be able to walk on the beach right there. Eat at the Hoodsport Marina & Pub and you can probably get some good local recommendations. (I’ve been to Hoodsport, but by boat & then just driving through).
