Runyon Canyon is a park in Los Angeles near the Santa Monica Mountains. It is between 130 and 160 hectares, and is a former residential property that was acquired by the city in 1984 and became a city park.

The property has an interesting history. The area was originally a camp used by some of local native tribes of America before, in 1867, George Caralambo land was given by an Army major, although he was not master of himself, the construction of stables for camels house that had been purchased by the United States and is managed and trained by Caralambo. Finally, after changing her surname while Allen, left, and a series of owners took over after that. Carman Runyon, whose name carries the part, was a coal magnate who used the property mainly for hunting.

Many of the owners of property used to rent portions of the property to celebrities who either were filming movies or simply wanted to escape for a while. This has led many to believe that many of these celebrities actually own the property at some point. The last owner of a little celebrity of this property was Jules Berman, known as the man who brought the U.S. Kahlua.

Runyon Canyon is known for three things. The only goal with the smallest and the largest impact is likely to be a dog park, where, because there is no leash law, owners can take their dogs and let them run wild, despite having to pick up after their dogs. Of all the acres of the park, about 90 hectares of open access to the dogs and their owners.

The second thing is known for its walking and hiking trails. There are three ways to enter the Canyon, and depending on how it comes to determining if they are on a walk regular or a steep gangway. Some roads lead to the highest point of the canyon, offering a 360 degree view of the area.

And the third thing is is known for the views and wildlife.

Most people do not think of Los Angeles and wildlife, but no wildlife, including coyotes, deer, owls, hawks, and a great variety of birds.

For points of view on a clear day the Pacific Ocean and Catalina Island can be seen. Sunset Strip also can be seen as Wilshire Boulevard, Hollywood Boulevard, the Griffith Observatory and the famous Hollywood sign.
