?? Arrival SLC July 12 – Departure July 19 OR MAYBE PHX LAS VEGAS and end in PHX, Help-confused ??!!/?

My husband, 2 children (16 and 12), and I will rent a 4 wheel drive and travel from SLC to PHX or we could make Las Vegas to PHX? We would like to stay in the cabins as near national parks as possible. If you can rent a tent in the camps in national parks that are too large. I wonder if they really we have enough days and days to spend at each stop …. and general advice. Thanks So Much!

Hello! Let me try to respond to what you're asking …. If you are talking about going to camp and make the national parks and holiday type I would rule out the nature of Las Vegas complete. There nature of things to do here (Lake Mead, Mount Charleston, etc.) However, Las Vegas is very touristy, flashy, etc. It is a good place to visit for fun and there are things to see …. but: My suggestion would be (with this being a family vacation with children aged 16/12 years) – If you're wanting to hike and camp and a great family time with nature I travel from SLC to PHX. As for rental accommodation in tents and huts, I'm not so sure all this information. I think it should be able to call around the places you are looking to stay and do what you suggest as far as accommodation. I hope this helped?! Height
