Steven Tyler, 61, began to try and entertain the largely “biker” crowd by dancing around as a sound system failure occurred. While prancing around the catwalk Tyler fell backwards. Security personell quickly rushed to help Steven Tyler and the large crowd cheered as he stood back up.
He was then whisked backstage around quarter past twelve in the morning. A few moments later Aerosmith’s lead guitarist John Perry announced that Steven was being taken to hospital and that of course the concert could not continue.
The Rapid City’s Regional hospital’s co – ordinator Rod Brandhagen declined commenting on the Steven Tyler’s situation.
This isn’t the first time Steven has got himself into a bad situation. In the mid 1980′s he had a motorcycle accident that pushed back one of his earlier albums, “Rock in a Hard Place” which as a result was released in 1982. Tyler severed his heel and spent almost a year in recovery.
We hope that he recovers soon.
