Looking for a decent, inexpensive campground near the Poconos?

I live in South Jersey, but I’m pregnant and it feels SO hot. I am looking for a cooler spot for weekends: a campground sort-of closeby that is quiet, with a woodsy atmosphere. Doesn’t have to be in the Poconos, or close to any attractions, I just want an inexpensive place to relax and read and feel a cool mountain breeze. A lake or river nearby would be nice for my husband to fish.

The problem is the traffic going to the Poconos area is as bad as driving to the shore! In fact, it’s even a bit worse because there are few alternate routes. A campground with families full of rowdy kids is not going to be relaxing! You can probably find something easier to get to in South Jersey. How about renting a boat (not a mountain breeze there, but a sea breeze), and sailing out to sea a bit, it doesn’t get any quieter than that and your husband can fish! or a bed and breakfast in Cape May!
