Camps in / Virginia Beach VA?

I'm looking to bring my children and husband on a road trip to a camp in Virginia in Virginia Beach. Does anyone have any recommendations on where the best places are ??????? I love taking the kids to Bush Gardens and Colonial Virginia as well. what a Nice cow. need for research now to save for next year. has anyone gone before??

Hello! I lived on the beach going for about 15 years … I've heard a lot of good things about KOA camps. is very close to the beach there http://www.koa.com/where/va/46109/ Busch Gardens is about an hour away but worth the trip. has tons of good rides and a very good section for young children (mine is 5 and loves), also I hear Water Country USA is too nice, but Funpark Ocean Breeze KOA is closer and cheaper if you're looking for a http://www.bushgardens.com/home.aspx http://www.oceanbreezewaterpark.com/ The water park "Strip" on the beach has tons of things to do like miniature golf, haunted houses, fun houses, a maze of mirrors, restaurants, bars and clubs, candy stores. Also next to the KOA camp is the Marine Museum VA science that has fish, sharks, seals, penguins .. http://www.vmsm.com/ stuff Also for children is the Children's Museum, which my daughter loves Portsmouth (again. She's 5, not sure how old yours are) its about 20 minutes in Portsmouth, but well worth http://www.portsmouthva.gov/childrensmuseumva/ Anyways … there is some starting points for you. I hope you have a good time!
